Terraces, The Lagoon, Tropicale, and The Cabanas - with 316 rooms in
a large landscaped area of Karon, complimented by 19 further villas
units scattered around the grounds.
The Terraces offer newly refurbished superior and superior ocean
view rooms together with 4 delightfully appointed deluxe honeymoon rooms
complete with their own oversized terrace and private out door sunken
Jacuzzi tub.
Accommodations at The Lagoon offer spacious deluxe rooms many of
which have 2 double beds which are ideal for family holidays accommodating
up to 2 adults and 2 children with ease. Deluxe family studio rooms
offers even greater comfort and space.
Tropicale is especially designed for travelers seeking a more luxurious
and inclusive vacation experience. Guests will enjoy Thai contemporary
furnishings, nightly turndown service and the exclusive use of the lounge
serving daytime snacks and pastries, all day tea and coffee and evening
cocktails and snacks all of which are complimentary. Additionally the
lounge offers newspapers, reading materials and free internet access.
Finally spacious The Cabanas are set within a garden location offering
total privacy together with all the comfort and service expected from

within & around the resort. Sunset cocktails, Karaoke and evening entertainment
from our resident band and for the late night fun head for Patong, a
quick shuttle bus ride from our resort and head straight to the party!
The resort has 3 swimming pool complexes, only minutes from any guest
room. The resort also provides a sports center with a host of recreational
activities including two floodlit tennis courts, fully equipped gymnasium,
snooker and darts. To unwind after a workout, enjoy treatments at SPA
Canvaree, sauna, or some refreshments from any Centara restaurants and
bars.
For the more adventurous minded, jungle trekking, go-kart racing,
sea-canoeing, shooting or even bungy jumping can be arranged through
the resort. After a lazy day on the beach, meander back to the resort,

loved the hotel layout the pools and the great staff
was a slow checkin with the room not ready at 15:00 not so happy about that
The beds were hard but I found that every where in Thailand and Malasia.
We will stay there again just wish they would give a soft bed option like the Pan Pacific KL |

We have just come back from an 8 day stay at Centara Karon Resort & we have nothing bad to say! We went with 4 adults & 2 children (5 & 1 1/2), we stayed in the Lagoon area. Everything was perfect, the rooms were gorgeous & clean, the staff were gracious, friendly & happy to chat, the grounds & pool areas were one of the best we ve seen. Overall it was one of the most relaxing holidays we ve had as a family. Oh & the food? Delicious. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span> |
We had no problem at all booking with Sawadee, even at the last minute I realised I hadn t booked a transfer from the airport to our hotel, with one email to Sawadee it was sorted. Brilliant! |

Overall Centara was a fab hotel. Great for kids. We used the kids club which was fantastic. Breakfast was nice, big variety though popular food like bacon was only offered every second day. They definately need more umbrellas around the pool as the those seats where taken at 9am. The only thing we didn t like was the fact that the housekeeping didn t leave us water on the 1st day and water and towels on the second day until we phoned reception, from then on everything was provided correctly. Staff are friendly and it is in a good locstion, close to nightlife and beach. Good happy hour for cocktails and also ice cream for the kids which was great. If you wanted to order food though there was no service around the pool, we had to get up and go an order it at the counter. That was diffcult with young kids who didn t want to get out of the pool, cause you can t order and watch swimming children. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span> |
