You may enter through a privacy lush
garden for relaxation and refreshment at Thai Sala, small huts made
of Thai teak wood. The spa offers traditional Thai massage along
with other invigorating massages and body treatments indoor or
outdoor.
Activity
The resort is 25 minutes away from
Phuket Town, major shopping department stores and Phuket
International Airport, and 15 minutes away from the Two Ladies
Historic Monument, a well known and respected place for Thai people.
These women protected Phuket Island from the Burmese. From the
monument to the waterfall is about 10 minutes and 20 minutes to the
Ao-Po Pier. Laempromthep Cape which is recommended for a tourist
visit for beautiful sunset viewing, is located in the south of the
island and takes about 45 minutes from the resort. The Animation
show "Phuket Fantasea" which is the most famous in Southeast Asia,
located in Kamala is about 15 minutes from Anchan Resort & Spa.
Bang Tao Beach is also connected to colorful Surin Beach and
peaceful Laemsing Beach.
The management of Anchan Resort &
Spa prides itself on helping each guest take advantage of other
activities in Phuket and surrounding islands. All arrangements can
be made or guests can rent a car and explore on their own.

Anchan Resort and Spa is located about 30 minutes south of the Phuket
International Airport. Upon private pick-up request, guests will be
met at the airport and transported to the resort.
Anchan Resort & Spa is a very convenient 7 minute walk, or guests
may request free shuttle service from our staff to Bang Tao Beach, Laguna
Beach or Surin Beach.
The resort can arrange car transport services , car rental and taxi
services upon request. Advanced reservations will be required.

The resort is very tired and the Spa has closed over 2 years ago. Luckily we got an upgrade to a pool villa but knowing the prices this is very overpriced for Thialand.
On the positive side the staff are very accomodating and have made the stay very pleasant. |

We stayed at Anchan Spa and Resort a week before Christmas 2011, in a pool villa.
We have been on Phuket twice before, but for the first time we have been disapointed about the standard of the hotel.
The pictures on sawadee and Anchan Resort own homepage, must have been taken years ago, giving the impression of a much better and luxurious place.
Things are worn now – our 11 year old boy went through the wooden floor around the pool, and his weight is only 25 kg!
And by the way – the spa is closed.
Positive things about the hotel – not to forget:
Very friendly staff, doing their outmost to give the guest, a positive experience. And Bang Tao Beach is only a 10 min walk away – perfect beach! (no shuttle).
Nice little town/street nearby.
