Due to the location, it is only good if you have your own transport as public transport does not exist here. Minibus to Trang town can be arranged with your travel agency or the resort at 150baht/pax. It would be very convenient if you plan to hop to other island, but make sure that the operator is using Pak Meng pier first. |

The price for this kind of room is very high: hot water only in the shower, no chair, not table, no wardrobe o something like it,no blackout tents so the wake up was at sixa.m.
friedly people,great location but tyhe hotel is not appropriate for western standard |

Just what we were looking for. Staff were friendly, food good and more local vistors than tourists. Value for money, and away from the normal tourist route.dont expect 5 star service but we did not anyway for the price. great views from in front and Trang Easy travel, on the jetty gave excellent long boat hire to islands. |
Great booking service and use it when in Thailand. However my pick up at Trang airport did not work this time, but the locals fixed it up quickly. |

Laytrang resort was well situated in a nice garden. The staff was very friendly and helpfull in organizing excursions in the beautiful environment and national park. The food in the restaurant was very good.
Some negative aspects: Inform clients that the beach in front of the hotel is not for swimming (we knew before, but this can be disappointing for others), and the rooms (bungalows) should be better maintained. Especially the window coverage against mosquitos was mostly damaged so that mosquitos could come in and keep us from sleeping. |

Very friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are small and could be cleaner, and the vinyl pillow protectors are an odd choice, but this is a fine place for a quick night before you head out to the islands. |

I found the Laytrang Resort hotel very disappointing.
I got no welcome, there was no atmosphere at all. The rooms were very basic and the service average at best. |
