Koh Ngai Thanya Resort, Muang, Trang 92000 - Review ...
We stayed there over Christmas. The place has potential, but is run badly. The owner was there and made no contact with the guests (not even eye contact), and you could see that to him, we were only a source of income everything was about he money. No usual Thai hospitality. Grumpy employees (except one Phillipino wiaiter). Murky pool. The food was sub standard. After one meal we had to go find a place to eat a few hundred meters away. Breakfast was bad also. ONE!! Cold egg with ONE warm sausage. And when I asked for more, they gave me this look that the rest of the mornings we went to eat elsewhere.
One last warning... The cicadas were so loud and their pitch was so high, it was unbearable.
We were glad we only booked a short stay and were glad to move on.
We plan to go back to the area again. NOT THANAYA. |

Best food on the Island by far......

spent over 3 weeks in Thailand and this was by far the worst service we experienced...we arrived to our room to find that the bathroom was completely infested with red ants - not just a few but thousands....also booked a snorkelling trip and arrived to find out they did not have enough fins and offered no discount...the food was the worst I ate in Thailand |

Frindly staff.
Had an upgrade on our room,but with very poor result.
Room was right next to the restaurant.
Size was big,but there was nutning but a bed in the room.No dressing table ,no sitting chair,no mirror,hardly any light,an no nothing.
In the bathroom there was a dressing cupperd ? ,and the shower hose was placed so low,you have to be on your knees to take a shover.
On the veranda ther was a smal table and two old dining room chairs.
All in ,the worst room we have ever had,for the price we paid
Breakfast was nice,lunch and dinner very little varaity,but ok. |

This was the perfect getaway-resort! The location was really nice, on the end of a perfect beach next to some cliffs and jungle. There were other hotels on the beach but this was the nicest one. It had a nice luxury-feel to it and felt private as it was on the end of the beach. The staff was exeptionally friendly and helpful. The bungalows had nice porches where you could sit and have your evening Singha.
The rooms were clean- not one cockroach!
Our only regret was that we didn t stay longer. |

I was positively surprised. Good value for money. Very nice and clean rooms and the pool area was superp. Cleaning and emptying of trash bins between beach and pool could have been better. |

Very nice resort! Very good location near the beach.
Very friendly staff. Pool was great and there was enough sun-chairs. Breakfast was great. Our bungalow was large with two dubbelbeds (We are a family with 2 children).
Beautiful garden.
Everything was perfect, it couldn´t be better!!! |

What a fantastic location. We had so much fun with the staff. Very friendly team. Nice bungalow, good food and nice beach (even on high tide!). We can strongly recomment this resort. |

We (couple with a child and a baby) spent 4 great days in Thanya Resort and enjoyed the hospitality of the staff and the wondeful place. Highly recommended for those who seek peace, great sea and lovely resort. |

Mycket trevligt hotell med bra läge och servicevänlig personal. Garden wiew var dock 2 bungalows som låg inklämda längst in så välj seawiew. |

Nice bungalows,could be better. Not a very good kitchen,better at fantasy resort (much better). |
