Bella struttura ottimo servizio.Unica pecca la spiaggia quasi inesistente a causa della costruzione fino a riva e la grande difficoltà ad entrare in acqua a causa dei coralli fino a riva.La struttura si trova a margine della spiaggia a sud e la sera aumentando la marea si isola completamente dalle altre strutture obbligando a stare nel resort con chiusura dei servizi entro le 21.oo |

This hotell is a pearl! The many steps up and down was probably the only exercise we got and we needed it! The rooms, teh breakfast and the staff was exelent! We will vist this hotel again! |

This resort is located on the quiet island of Kho Ngai (Hai) and is a great place if you want to get away, enjoy great views and eat absolutely fantastic Thai-food.
The staff is competent and very friendly and they do everything to make your stay easy and rememberable. |

Hotel is at the very northern part of the beach where the beach is not as nice as a bit further south (a few minutes walk away). You can walk along the beach and reach the south of the island after a 30 minutes walk. There is no way on the landside so you can only walk along the beach during low tide.
The Chateau Hill Resort offers a phantastic view along the coast - probably the best of Ko Ngai. Rooms are very comfortable, a lot of space and very clean. The pool is at the top of the hotel and offers a phantastic view. The staff was very friendly and caring and made our stay very pleasant. While breakfast was simple (but good) we enjoyed every evening a wonderful food. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a few relaxing days. Good value for money. |

Das im Jahre 2006 fertiggestellte Hotel entspricht sowohl vom Service als auch vom Zustand der Zimmer nicht mehr dem Preisniveau. Der Manager hat gar keine Ahnung von irgend etwas und muss im Fantasy Resort nachfragen. Ohne Kreditkarte kein Geldwechsel. Das Personal dümpelt vor sich hin. Allein der Ausblick von den Zimmern und dem Pool sind nennenswert. Promotionsangebote können hier auch nicht über die Defizite hinwegtäuschen.
Fazit: Wer das Geld für den Ausblick ausgeben will, kann das tun, der schönere Strand ist jedoch woanders.

We stayed in a deluxe room with two extra beds, we were 5 person. The deluxe room was big enough and had a great view over the jungle, sea from the balcony. The rate/grade is set in relation to the price we paid.
good room, great pool up on the hill, with a fantastic view over the sea (one of a kind), good service, good snorkling at coral reef wall just outside the hotel (hard to get out there though).
- many steps, the beach are not great by the hotel, you have to walk a long way to a great paradise beach.
Other cooments: quiet hotel a bit isolated, we liked it. |

Потрясающий вид с балкона на океан и острова, комнаты стоят своих денег, но есть изъяны. Например, жесткие матрасы, чувствуются пружины. Неудобные подушки. Сантехника на уровне, но газовый водонагреватель дает только весьма горячую воду.
Персонал вышколен, чувствуется некий уровень. Давали купоны по акции на бесплатные ужины. Почти всё было вкусно. Завтрак хороший.
Вцелом впечатления об отеле просто отличные!
Отель на горе, верхние номера подняты над морем метров на 40. Зато на этом уровне есть отличный бассейн с видом на океан. Летают экзотические птицы.
Есть недостаток - купаться в море у отеля очень плохо. Более-менее приличное место можно найти, пройдя с километр направо по берегу. |

WE loved our stay on Ko Hai island. The hotel was great. Wonderful pool area. Nice people. Free wi-fi. Good food for dinner. Breakfast a bit on a down-side (not too much variety). If you are for peace and serenity this is a place to go. If you are for the beach, check other hotels on the island (but there you have more people in general). Our Deluxe Sea View room (no 715) had a wonderfull view. |

A very nice place, but a bit deserted from other activities; especially at night. Spa and massage were closed this season (probabaly from April or earlier). Keep watching the weather, the tour program can be canceled by rain. People at the reception desk and Paul at the restaurant are friendly. The rest hardly say hello . I may go back for the hot season otherwise I would stay other areas where I can find little more activities. |

Good hotel with nice pool area and friendly staff. We stayed three nights with our 1,5 year old daughter, she really enjoyed the pool and the staff. The hotel is situated on the mountainside which means many stairs. The view from the pool area is fantastic with its beautiful surroundings. The beach in front of the hotel is not good, but a few minutes walk from the hotel the beach is ok except for during the tide when the water disappears. The food at the hotel is ok, but best food on the beach is at the Thawarpin resort that is the neighbour resort. We walked there in the evening but the flood made it hard to go back to the The Chateau Hill Resort at night time because the beach is the only way to walk back. There is also a trail in the forest but remember to bring a flashlight if you are going to take that way. Summary: Nice surroundings, view, pool and friendly staff. Not so good: beach in front of hotel, access to other resorts at nights. Go here for a few days if you want a relaxing time in fantastic surroundings, there is not much to do other than swimming, snorkeling and eating. |

Oh my. This hotel has a lote of things going for it and a lot of things not going for it. The location on the far north point of the Koh Hai beach is a little bit secluded and the beach in front of the resort isn t really swimmable. Go 5 min south and take a swim in front of the Thapwarin or Coco resorts.
The hotel was almost empty during our stay. Strang considering that most other hotels on the island were almost full. The staff s performance varied greatly. At the bottom level was Housekeeping, a bunch of incompetent and sloppy Thai dudes that was completey impossible to get a smile or hello out of. At the top was the pool bar staff that was friendly, helpful and easy going even though their english skills lacked some. That goes for everyone in the hotel. The woman in charge made a somewhat desperate impression, you would get a very displeased face when she saw that we were not gonna have dinner at the hotel restaurant. We were being watched in that way. Food was ok, not more. The best food on the beach is at Coco Cottage, no question about it. The best thing about The CHateau Hill is the pool. The best view in Thailand from the very top of the hill. The resort is situated on a very steep hill. Consider this closely if you re travelling with small children. You will be exhausted. We were. Remember to require the little electric car for going up hill. Room standard is ok. We stayed in the top deluxe room. Fantastic view again, large balcony. We stayed three nights at Coco Cottage after, which is more expensive and lower room standards, but with the genuine Thai ambience that everyone is looking for. But the Chateau Hill is not all bad though, the pool area and pool bar alone makes it worth while. |

Very nice.
We visited the hotel at the end of February where not many guests stayed at the Chateau Hill.
The restaurant was good. However the menu was more like a cafeteria choice - you could get any source to any combination of seafood, pork and chicken. Rather overwhelming to create your own dish. I do prefer that the chef decides some good combinations and present them as his professional creation.
The rooms are excellent. Good air condition and facilities and good views. We stayed near the top.
The coral reef is 250 meters from the shore. It is a long way to swim and at low tide the going is not easy. However, if you take the swim to the coral reef there is a lot to see.
Many kinds of corals, and colourful fish. The interesting part of the coral reef is from surface and 6 meters down. The bottom at high tide is approx. at 10 meters. The visibility was 10 meters.
There is not much to do on the island other than look at the beautiful scenery, swim, dive and walk on the beach an visit other restaurants along the shore. There are no tracks up in the hills.
I enjoyed the stay and the excellent and kind service.
