NOT WORTH THE MONEY, HOTEL AND ROOM IS VERY AVERAGE, broken phone, small old tv, dark room. Many similar quality hotels at half the price on the island. FACILITIES (pool) ARE DECENT

Great location! We had been staying in the northern beach area and this location was a welcome change.
Sawadee was great. There was a mess up with the check in date and sawadee took care of it immediately.

The hotel would like to be a first class hotel, but they are not. The staff are not that serviceminded, and they do not understand english. Very bad. The rooms standard was okay, but not as expected. Nice location, but too much noise from beach disco.

Phi Phi Island Cabana Hotel, Phi Phi Island, Ton Sai Beach
My partner and I choose this hotel, simply because of it s location - it s right next to the pier on Ton Sai Bay, Phi Phi Island (less than a two minute walk)and directly opposite two beaches (located in the middle). Check in staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel interior is very outdated. Our deluxe room was again outdated and old. Shower screen was broken and the frame was rusted. The shower head was not screwed onto the wall properly and when you turned the water on the shower head would turn and flip with the water spraying up against the wall, therefore you had to hold onto it when showering which was annoying. Also, on arrival into our room, we discovered ants and modules of sand on our bed. Not what we expected for the price we paid. We then discovered, much nicer, more modern resorts for much cheaper rate but unfortunately, we had pre-paid for our hotel in advance, so we stuck it out. The pool was great with plenty of sunbeds! Breakfast was average. Chef on site to cook ommelettes, with cold cereal selections along with hot buffet selections - lots of rice, noodles, and salads. Thankfully, the weather was great, so we spent very little time at the hotel. If I was to return to Phi Phi Island - I would not stay at this hotel, purely because it is very old. Nicer and new hotels located near the Cabana that are cheaper.
Perfect!

The hotel is not as one would expect for a 4-star hotel in Thailand, specially considering that it is completely overpriced in this country. However, it is the best hotel in Ko Phi Phi if youy want to be in the tourist village. The rest of the hotels are cheaper, but less quality, so this is the coice if you want a good hotel well placed. All other hotels in Ko Phi Phi are overpriced as well. The other option is goin to the Phi Phi Village Hotel or the Holiday Inn , which are very nice resorts, but are not in the tourist village, and the only access to the village is by taxi boat, which will cost a bit. These two hotels are good, but completely isolated. The Caban looks like an old resort, with old rooms, old bathrooms, old services, everything is old, and doesn t look great. The swimming pool is great, in front of the beach, with the other bay at just 50 metres, and in the centre of the tourist village, just metres away from the pier. Location couldn t be better. Eventhough everything in this hotel is old, it isn t bad. Just don t expect one of the nice resorts in other places in Thailand like Ko Samui, or the nice hotels in BKK.

The location was fabulous and the room view was terrific. The pool was great. These are the only good things I can say about the hotel since it over priced for the service level and attitude. We stayed for 5 nights in the hotel and did not move since it was our last stop in our Thailand vacation and we lack the energy for additional move. I recommend to search somewhere else. The AC bearly coped with the heat and it stopped working several times. The toilet had to be fix twise while we stayed. The service people at the hotel where not very helpful and their English level is below average. For 5500 baht per night we paid, I am sure there are other better equipped and with better service hotels on the Isle.
No problems here.
