Montien House, Chaweng Beach We have a pool villa which was a little bit worn out as was the whole hotel area. The pool area was too small and there was not enough sunbeds. Therefore we used only our own small pool. Breakfast was a American one if you don´t like Thai food. If you want to swim in the sea you have to walk about 250 meters to find clear water. One positive thing was location, near shops and restaurants and the second positive thing was Montien restaurant in the evening. |

Montien House, Chaweng Beach This is a nice resort in a great location. We stayed in the Pool Villa, which was lovely. We had our own private pool so we didn t use the communal pool but it looked very nice and not overcrowded (it was low season). The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was one of the nicest we went to. |

Montien House, Chaweng Beach The Montien House hotel was a huge dissappointment after reading all the positive reviews.. I recently stay 5 nights after reading so many positive reviews. I found the hotel to be in dire need of a major renovation, from the bungalow like rooms to the restaurant and pool area. Everything is and looks worn down. Mosquitoes are everywhere and are a huge problem. I prepaid so was stuck for the 5 days.. The mosquitoes feasted on me everyday! Bug repellant did not work very well.. The property has huge potential if everything were renovated.. Otherwise, I would never go back.. |

Montien House, Chaweng Beach We stayed at Montien house for 2 nights at the beginning of May. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was great - sufficiently away from all the noise on the main strip at Chaweng. Breakfasts were very good too! |

Montien House, Chaweng Beach We have booked for 4 nights but as we liked the resort we booked further 13 nights. Our deluxeroom was OK with good facilities and fairly big with a doublebed. But it had be better with a table and a couple of chairs. The staff was kindly and helpful and the breakfast was also OK, but could have been a little better with some more sort of bread and cheese. On the other hand the beach just outside the resort was not so good. The water was often dirty and as the owners of the hotels and rastaurantes do not clean upp outside their buildings on the beach there was very much plastic, bottles, pots and other dirty things so it was nearly impossible to take a bath. So therefore we can not recommend this part of the beach.But about 300 meters from the resort the water was clean and fine. Bertil Hansson Kungsbacka Sweden |

Montien House, Chaweng Beach Really happy with my stay at Montien House, the garden setting was a great view from the bungalow, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was filling and tasty. Definitely recommend. |

Montien House, Chaweng Beach Great location, more of a down to earth location, comfortable, a little freshen up would be great, but the price is great for where you are. A nice relaxing holiday there, will go back. |
