Excellent small resort to stay a night between arriving to Koh Samui and moving to Koh Tao. Nice big room and very flexible staff who arranged us early breakfast before we needed to head to ferry. |

Absolutley shiti this resort Everything inside is 25 years or older. Air condition smelled like a dead dog. Stuff was nice & friendly, bathroom was very retro perhaps older than 25 years. We thank god that we had to leave at 6 a.m. in the morning so we did not see the breakfast... |

We spent 6 days at the Baan Fah resort in one of the beach front rooms. The room was stunning, clean and exactly like the pictures on the website. We were able to open our doors and walk down a few steps to the beach, which was cleaned every morning. The staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Even before we left home I had exchanged emails because of a change of flight time and the hotel picked us up at the airport. Breakfast is included in the price and there was a choice of what you could have.
Maenam itself is a very quiet resort, there are a few resaurants and bars along the beach, but not much else in the way of shops. This was a worry at first but we were able to get a taxi every day into Bophut to shop and find other restaurants for about 250 bht, although there was a lovely man at Baan Fah who would drive you for 300 bht. and the one next door to Baan Fah was very nice.
It is a small friendly resort. No swimming pool but it is so close to the sea we didn t mind. We will be going back next year. |
