Great hotel very clean and spacious rooms. Very friendly staff always available to help. A bit of a walk to the shops and restaraunts but taxis are very cheap so not really an issue. |

I loved my stay at the baan talay koh phangang. The room was comfortable and clean and better than I expected as the price of the room per night was very reasonable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The Baan Talay was located in a very good position in town not too close to the beach. I would recommend the Baan Taly for good value for money. To all staff at Baan Talay thankyou for making my holiday a wonderful experience. |

This hotel could do with a massive revamp. After refusing our first room we were taken to another room equally as bad! The toilet is full of green and yellow mould and the sink basin as falling apart. The paint job is absolutely terrible and the room was not cleaned in the entire 8 days we stayed at Baan Talay! The security is poor with slat windows out onto the corridor that can be manpulated from the outside! I would not recommend this hotel. |

We had a lovely time at Baan Talay and will return to stay there again for the next fullmoon party!! The rooms were clean and spacious and good value for money! Safety deposit boxes were available in a secure room to store our valubles which gave us peace of mind during the busy fullmoon period!!
Baan talay offered a cheap internet service at the reception too which we used as the price of internet around the internet cafes have trippled since i was last in haad rin a year ago!!
one thing the rooms lacked was storage space but we had a nice big mirror and dressing table which made up for it!!!
Cheaper rates seem available if you just turn up and see if they have rooms, but booking should be advised around fullmoon times as it gets booked up very quickly!!! |

Cool place to stay for full moon party ... near enough to it (like 3 minute walk) but far enough so you cant hear the hideous trance music all night. Air con bed and hot shower ... perfection. |

I will admit I didn t have high expectations for this place but when I arrived I was pleasently surprised. The room was clean, the shower had plenty hot water, the A/C worked well, and the staff was very friendly. The location was great too as it is right in the middle of the town and could walk to anywhere in just a few minutes. I originally booked for only 6 nights with the intentions of transferring to a nicer hotel but decided to stay an extra 4 nights because the price was right and I was content there. I had one complaint.. this place was very noisy. Due to the location on a busy intersection you had to deal with loud mortorbike and car noise during the day then music from the Bar across the street until late and then a very annoying rooster that wouldn t quit in the morning. This is something to be expected though so it didn t bother me but ear plugs are a must! I would stay here again. |
