Jean-Michel Huet 2010-01-16	Royal Riverkwai Resort & Spa, Kwai Yai very nice hotel a bit far from the city. An own transportation is needed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good buffet breakfast The only negative thing i can say are: - very bad smelling (we were on the room 109), in the room and outside - also a nightclub near by very noisy	perfect as usual
Yupaporn Khamon 2010-01-04	Royal Riverkwai Resort & Spa, Kwai Yai Our group can say very nice hotel rice of nature,big swimming pool easy for visit surrounding. Kanchanaburi most of area are hot but this hotel have many trees and fresh air you never feel that. Staff were helpful and kind.	very good
Ann Rowley 2009-11-28	Royal Riverkwai Resort & Spa, Kwai Yai Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the organisation of this booking. I had booked two double rooms with sawadee.com, however when the confirmation email was sent to the hotel it stated (2 double/twin rooms) which the hotel took to mean that we wanted a double and a twin. When we informed the hotel that this was not what we had booked, they proceeded to argue with us and tell us that we had booked the wrong thing and then blamed the website. The management were very rude and unaccommodating. A shame for such a beautiful resort. Upon leaving the management again embarrassed themselves by accusing my partner and I of breaking the seal on a bottle of water in the minibar and then replacing it. Quite outrageous. The staff and the food at the resort were lovely and it was such a shame that bad management took away from this.	The website sent the hotel a confusing reservation letter that resulted in one of our rooms being on the ground floor and the management being very rude and unaccommodating.
Cuttelle 2009-11-27	Royal Riverkwai Resort & Spa, Kwai Yai We found the staff very helpful, and although the rooms and bathrooms were old needing a clean and coat of paint, we had plenty of hot water and the beds were good. However, what did concern us was the following, we were allocated rooms 435 and 436, almost next to the fire excape, which was padlocked from the inside, and no way out. Although you always hope that it would never be used, the hotel is old and you never know what can happen, this issue has to be addressed, if we are to return to this hotel.	Excellent
Ross Crawford 2009-11-10	Royal Riverkwai Resort & Spa, Kwai Yai Lovely resort right on the river the gardens are so beautiful and serene - with an amazing pool. Staff really helpful even though alot didnt spea english. Fair distance from town but a great peaceful place to do day trips from - staff organized tours etc was great	fast and efficient
James Bordycott 2009-10-19	Royal Riverkwai Resort & Spa, Kwai Yai A little problem checking in - we had made the reservation on line enroute and were not able to print the Sawadee online voucher - this seemed a problem to our front desk person - we felt like we had to argue that we had a reservation - until management were called - not a good first impression! This looks like an fine older property but has been kept up well - and they offer excellent pricing - can be noisy if a big group is there when you are there - as we were - since the meeting/dance rooms are close to the rooms - unlike many resorts here there was no security at the gate	Suggest you might need better communication with this property since guests may book enroute - or suggest to the property a system to get their on line booking information to the front desk.
Andrea Le Bruen 2009-09-19	Royal Riverkwai Resort & Spa, Kwai Yai This was our second time at this hotel, very peaceful, quiet and not far from the city at all. Staff hardly speaks English, but very helpful. Rooms very nice and clean, bathrooms need a renovation soon.	Excellent as usual
Josse 2009-07-28	Royal Riverkwai Resort & Spa, Kwai Yai everything s perfect can t find my word to explain this little paradise!!!! service really good ; room perfect and all around the hotel is really quiet and beautiful but you need a car because it s a little bit far from the center of the city	perfect reservation booking

Miss A L Sherman 2009-06-02	Royal Riverkwai Resort & Spa, Kwai Yai This hotel is just fabulous with a view and river location to die for. It s set about 15 minutes drive outside of Kachanaburi town, so you have to take that into account when booking, but it is worth every second of the drive. The hotel rooms are quite basic but lovely, although we were slightly dissapointed with the bathroom - our shower didn t work properly during one of the evenings - and the bathroom itself was more basic then we d have hoped. Having said that, it really didn t matter and we loved the room. The service in the hotel and hotel restaurant is exceptional although we were less impressed with the food - we did stay out of season, so some of the food wasn t available, but our food wasn t as nice as restaurants outside of the hotel and it was obviously more expensive. We would definitely come back to this hotel but perhaps in high season when there are a few more people around to give it more of an atmosphere.	The booking service was just fantastic - we booked about 3 hotels through Sawadee.com and had no problems at all and the correspondence was really quick and helpful. Would definitely book with Sawadee.com again.
