River Kwai Botanic Garden, Kanchanaburi 71000 - Review ...
This hotel is very charming and affordable. The service was delightful. I felt I was part of the family. The only drawback: very little English was spoken, and the location was a little more remote than we expected. |
Fine...good confirmation information. |

River Kwai Botanic Garden, Kanchanaburi 71000 - Review ...
-Need more sign direction at Kang see yon & Bankao-Saiyok intersection.
-No greetings upon arrival.
-No communication line from room to front office.
-No facilities offered same as brochure except massage. What you can do is only sleep, enjoy seeing the river, food at restaurant & walk around hotel.
-Floating house & overall place need refreshment & re-arrangement.
-Some staffs need more training on services & hospitality.
-Definitly will not go back as well as recommend to any one before any significant change.
-As I visited Kanchanaburi many times, there are plenty others hotels there giving better service, facilities & scenery with the same rate, or even cheaper. |
It is good to have mark or point of every hotels at Kanchanaburi in the website based on guest s opinion as guidance. |

River Kwai Botanic Garden, Kanchanaburi 71000 - Review ...
When i booked this hotel I had no idea just how far away it was from Kanturburi or how difficult it would be to get to, whether you come by train or bus its a full days journey to get there from Bangkok. The mile walk to the pier which you have to do if you come by bus in blistering heat just about finished us off.
The hotel itself is basic, no heating, no hot water, but its pretty and the location is stunning. The all inclusive was a nice surprise so actually its good value.
The food wasnt good, rice with pick and mix food, same for lunch and dinner. No choice you get what you are given. The local dancing isnt that great idea so pass on that one.
The trips were the most expensive we experienced in Thailand so we didnt do them, about three times the price per person which was a great shame.
Any more than two nights and your going to go crazy here.
We came by bus and went back by train, the death railway was great and humbling, but they are going to charge you 500 bht taxi to get there. The extras here were expensive and there is no choice, its too remote to go else where. |
