seen a slight deterioration of service quality in comparison with Jan and Feb 2011, hopefully when the whole hotel is refurbished it improves. Examples - no bell boy at entrance to help with the luggage from the taxi, no waitress with coffee/tea at breakfast like the previous year, entrance from the street closed late in the evening (you have to go around... shortage of staff??)) <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span> |

The first night we were given a really old room on 9/F which was unacceptable. 3 days later when we checked in again we were given a newly rennovated room on 11/F which is in a very good condition. 房间比较大,设施之类的在中国可以跟五星相比较,但酒店的位置是在当地的一个墓地旁,可能在当地人眼中这是一个福地,因为索非特也在周边。 |

We live in Surin and we normally use the Hotel when in Bangkok and take the top of the range room in the 10-11th floor.
In the last visit we have noticed a big improvement on the reception desk,normally very unfriendly and unhelpfull.
For the first time they recognised us as usual married custumers and not one night stander.
At the moment,with renovation goig on the Hotel,is more then whorty the money.
One remark:the prices for the mini bar are out of earth. |
We always use Sawadee with satisfaction |

they upgrade the hotel from 3 star to 4 star. very noisy from 10 am untill 6 pm everyday from the men working in hotel . i think they need months to repair all the hotel . dont booking if dont call lobby before to be sure that repairing works stopped . it must be closed this time for customers . very very noisy from 10 am untill 6 pm cannot stay in room . all hotel is vibration noisy by the machines . <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span> |

All facilities at the hotel (swimming-pool, sky-bar and gym was on recontruction. That should have been informed when booking this hotel. |
First reminder of the final payment should have been done earlier. Now i missed that payment but the booking was arranged anyway at the arrival at the hotel. |

I posted a comment about the sad state of this hotel s internet access. My previous stay I was in a junior suite, where I could find no LAN port. However, this time I was in an Executive Deluxe room on the 10th floor and did find a working LAN port, so I was a happy traveler. All I can confirm is that this level of room on the 10th floor did have free internet access in the room at speeds of 1.5 MB. Bring your own CAT 5E LAN cable, which I always take with me. Don t know if they have cables for use or rent. BTW, the hotel is undergoing major reconstruction in the lobby area so you have to check in on the 6th floor, sharing space with the dining room. Dining area a little smaller to make room but not affected much. No upstairs dining, also being worked on. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span> |

A very enjoyable and centrally located hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the hotel was undergoing renovations while we were there but the disruption was miminal. Excellent breakfast <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span> |

The room was a bit worn down. Bathroom was very small and aircondition big and noisy and placed right over our bed, so we got the cold air in our heads at night.
The balcony was very small and dirty.
