The Patra, Huamark, Bangkapi, Bangkok 10240 - Review ...
The rooms were spacious, very clean. Had a microwave & small kitchen with a sink and fridge which was really good, plus a large tv with lots of channels. Each room had a balcony. The internet was a sold in 24 hour time slots, which was very useful, but slightly annoying if you only wanted to use it to check emails quickly. The staff were lovely and very helpful, as were the cleaning staff. The buffet breakfast in the morning was incredible, with a choice of thai, western or chinese yum cha, plus fruits, yoghurts and cereals. The restuarant/bar also hosted karaoke at night/ live music which we enjoyed. The hotel is near a 7 eleven and shopping mall which is only a 10 minute walk away (less for the 7 eleven), but the hotel also provides a shuttle service. The mall offered all the usual fast food eateries and retail stores, plus a large department store. On the same road as the hotel is a small, and hard to spot, massage place. It is called Rungrataroma Spa and is next door to some laundry mat places. Even though the outside sign is worn, the massage ladies are EXCELLENT and very cheap too, about 160 baht for an hour for a thai massage. (also it is cheaper than the hotels massages). It is a very close drive to the airport too, whether you drive/catch a taxi or use the sky train aiport link. Finding the hotel was difficult without a map, as the signage was not very good. And while it is not in the city centre, catching a taxi to the nearest skytrain stop or even to sukhumvit rd is not far or expensive.

Very nice & hospitable.
Although Airport transportation was noted on reservation, The Serviced Apts did not actually have transport service, however they did supply a good recommendation, and they even made our breakfast to go, because we had an early flight. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping] |

The Patra, Huamark, Bangkapi, Bangkok 10240 - Review ...
Patra place is a very clean and secure hotel. They have security that has to let you in at night. The room was very spacious and clean. Great showers too! The only problems we had were that the hotel is not in a great location. It was a 45 minute cab ride through HEAVY traffic to get into the core of the city.
As well, the restaurant int the hotel has great food and AMAZING service. The included breakfast was the best I have had at any hotel. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping] |

The Patra, Huamark, Bangkapi, Bangkok 10240 - Review ...
Nice, clean hotel, good rooms allthough thin doors/walls. Staff is very friendly and helpful, can ask them about anything and they will try to help. Nice breakfast of your chice. Have absolutely nothing to complain about concerning the hotel in itself, BUT it is not of walking distance to central parts of Bangkok. We thought the hotel was more central than it actually is, you will need to go by taxi if visiting Khaosan Road, the temples etc. Do not try to walk! Only negative is location. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping] |
Very easy, as usual. |
