Very busy hotel so it must be good - and it was! Only negative: We would ask for a room away from the main-road...
Breakfast very Asian but we like that!
We will go back if ever in Surat again. |

Wang Tai Hotel, Suratthani
We really like the Wang Tai and have stayed there three times. Our rooms have been quite comfortable, and we appreciate the riverside location and lovely views. The staff members have been friendly and professional. |
We use Sawadee whenever possible and have always been satisfied. |

Very nice hotel. Would stay there again and recommend with question. We needed to change our stay dates and did so without any problems. No safe in room but Hotel felt very safe. |

Tinidee Hotel @ Ranong, Ranong
The accommodation and services were good both times we stayed there. The best part was the hot mineral water in the bathrooms and the charming heated pool separated into 4 sections, that provided both privacy and social at the same time. Relaxing! |
The room reservation list on the web was confusing. The wordings seemed to be unfamiliar to what I ve seen in my years of traveling. For example, the list indicated...Superior Double =1,300
superior Twin =1,400.
I had to call to find out if I wanted the king/queen size for two persons, which one I should pick. After several attempts to try to understand the front desk lady, it turned out that I must pick the twin selection and type in the request for a king sized bed!!! She insistedf that the double meant to be for one person and the twin for 2 people in the room. Why can t you list the rooms by the sizes of the beds and clearify the rate for one or two persons in a separate box as they all do in the United States? |

Very clean and staff are very helpfull, Staff all good with english and helpfull on the phone. I will contiue to use this place as my base as it is central to everything and price per night is good. only a little negative, it gets a bit of road noise on the front side rooms. Restraunt, perfect, great food. |

Thapwarin Resort, Trang, Koh Ngai
The strong point of this hotel is the location, which is quite unique in Thailand. Very quiet, natural surroundings, with tropical vegetation and palm trees lining up the beach.
It is a bit over-priced though, especially in the high season. Bungalows are very basic, bed linnen and towels not very clean and smell not very fresh. The food is excellent! However, limited availability, especially of seafood (which you would expect to be abundant in the middle of the sea).
The Thai staff was very helpful and very friendly. However, the supervisors where Filipinos. Extremely unfriendly people. Or when trying to be friendly it showed really fake! Also to the Thai staff they were very rude. I d suggest the owner to look into this.
Besides this, if ur looking to get away of it all, Thapwarin is probably the best place you can find in Thailand |

Free tuk tuk service is commendable since the town center is quite a distance away. Hotel service is satisfactory although not at par with its 4 star rating. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room. Bathroom shower emits sounds when turned on. However the hotel and rooms are cleaned and comfortable.
Foods prepared for the breakfast buffet are nice and but since it is a 4 star hotel, I expect more than that.
I would stay in a hotel that is nearer to town because waiting for tuk tuk or even paying one on your own incurs time and money! |

Asian Hotel is great, located in the central of Hatyai, surrounded with shopping & food Centre. The service was great rendered by the Hotel Staff, receptionist, room maid and as well as bell boy... The room is great cause I booked the family suite.. so convenience for us to gether together... |
Booking was easy and convenience, and the cost is rather reasonable..I will be staying there giving again to visit Hatyai... |

Koh Ngai Thanya Resort, Trang, Koh Ngai
We stayed at Thanya Resort for 3 nights, at the end of our 1 month journey in southern Thailand, and we had a wonderful stay! To start with the island of Koh Ngai is a true paradise island. Only a few hotels, a long sandy beach and crystal clear water. The resort is located on the best part of the beach, further down the beach there are a lot of rocks and stones in the water wich makes it almost impossible to swim there during low tide. But outside Thanya s the beach is perfect! Wonderful snorkling areas aswell. If you just swim a few meters from the shore there are beutiful coral reefs and a lot of colorful fishes.
The staff at Thanyas are really nice. When we stayed there the low season was just about to start so there were only a small amount of staffmembers, but they were all super-nice and really made an effort for us to enjoy our stay!
The only negative thing we can come up with about the resort was the breakfast wich was not brilliant, but still eatable. Dinner was really nice though!
We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recomend Thanya to everyone (well, maybe not to the ones who likes to party all night long and running around in shops all days, but thats not what Koh Ngai is all about)! In our opinion Thanya resort is the most perfect paradise island resort and the by far best resort on the island of Koh Ngai! |
