Jansom Beach Resort, Ranong
DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS HOTEL. The pictures show the grandeur of the place a long time ago before it went bust. Someone continued to run the place out of a desk and manage a few rooms. But the rest of the facility is totally rundown. Suitable as location shoot for horror movies. |

Our Seaview Bungalow was very nice and the only two things not perfect were the very small and weak fan and the moscito net which had a lot of wholes.
The restaurant service was really great, professional and friendly. In contrary, the high-speed internet didnt work at all for yahoo France and gmx Germany. We lost a lot of time and couldnt even not check our emails. |

We found the Hotel very freindly, with good facilities and nicely decorated room. Excellent location for anything in Songkhla and area and would certainly stay at the Pavillion again. |
Booking was very easy and efficient, with minimal delay for response. Confirmation was in only a few hours. |

Koh Hai Fantasy Resort, Trang, Koh Ngai
Our visit to Koh Hai was really great. We staid in an Air-con dubble room. The view wasn t great from the room but the surroundings on Koh Hai is surely fantastic.
The service in the restaurant was very good and we got our favorite waiter.
Don t forget to try the wounderful banana pancakes in the resaturant up-beach Koh Hai Fantasy Resort! |

Disappointing. No chairs to sit on balcony. Rather grubby windows, cracked bath and basin in bathroom. Offhand receptionists. No local info available.
Beautiful location, right on the beach.
Worst breakfast buffet ever! But food at lunchtime and evenings was quite good, although service was erratic, and accompanied by ghastly western ballads. |

The receptionists are not very service minded. Our bathroom was not very pleasant thought as there was a urinal placed directly in front of the toilet.Nice breakfast and a very beautiful beach. |

The hotel and rooms generally are clean and breakfast was included for the 900+ baht that I paid for. Transportation to Donsak for the Koh Samui ferry was easily arranged through the receptionist as well, who spoke fluent English. As Suratthani was merely a stop for me to Koh Samui I did not have a chance to use the facilities (and comment on them), however. |

The Wang Tai is getting old !!
The rooms are OK but need renovating, it may not be the most expensive hotel but large cigarette burn holes in the sofa to not give the best impression :-(
