Though located perfectly on Laem Thien pinnacle with splendid sunrise views and opportunities for rock climbing and snorkeling, this place is a real disappointment merely due to the management. They constantly have problems with water supplies and electricity (even in those few hours when it is supposed to be available). During our stay every second day was without water and the staff did not care for that at all saying it is fault of the clients who forgot to close the tap. The food is very expensive and the kitchen is a real mess. But if you try to supply food for yourself at the Sairee village, the manager Ping Pong would be pissed off. Actually, her priority is the well-being of her staff than the clients interests. They do not care for the environment, either. The clients clean the beach, not the staff. The rocks around the main building are littered. the only chance to save this unique place is to have the real professional manager, not just some PingPong. The concept of this isolated place with the bungalows right in the middle of the jungle is very exciting and it can be put into reality with just a little effort and responsibility. good luck. |

Beautiful room, but it lacked a bit in cleaning. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff, butt a bit unorganized. |

Black Tip Dive Resort, Koh Tao, Ao Tanote
The Black Tip Dive resort is good choice ONLY for a divers. If you are not keen on diving you have to run during the check inn. The service is realy poor. We moved to the city after one night and nobody asked us why. The resort is at the jungle, even not soil route goes there. The dogs where live at this resort had a better service then guests. |

Nice view from the terrace, but the room was dirty and many things broken.
It was also many animals in the bungalow and in the near area. |

The accomodation was very good, clean and set in lovely gardens and the staff very friendly. Situated right at the end of the beach snorkelling and swimming good. |

Fabulous. Ideal for the traveler seeking day and evening mood at Tao. For 600 baht the standard room was a cottage on stilts. Very aesthetic, well maintained and located. Far above expectations.
Location... adjacent to Lotus bar on Sairee beach... most happening nightlife on the beach in Tao.. is here. Fireshows.. and fun dancing in the bar and the beach with comfy beachside sitouts.
A MUST STAY place for the budget and non-budget traveller.
STAFF: Awesome... we had an issue with the motorcycle and needed help. The guy made calls from his phone. The info. centre is very nice. Friendly people, well aware of all beaches AND speak GOOD english (very important for Thailand) |

We loved the bungalow, lovely gardens and the position of the Resort on Koh Tao. Our only criticism is the quality of food at the resort restaurant. It is much cheaper and better quality in many local restaurants just up the road. We would have eaten more at the restaurant if the quality and price matched other local restaurants. |
