Iyara Beach Resort & Plaza, Koh Samui, Surathani 84310 - Review ...
the servise of this hotel is very very bad , can not compare with the other 2 hotels we stay in Samui and Koh Tao, when we ask for picking up servise from pier to hotal, they said this is not for free, this I think is OK even though the other hotels picking up and sending us all for free...BUT, you know ,they charge us 850 at first , after bargin, they ask for 800, at that time I don t know this cost is reasonabel or not ,then accept , but when we arrived at the pier , we found even taxi only cost 650....we feel very bad be costed too much by the hotel which is alrdy earn benifit from our staying....I will never book this hotel. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span> |

We have reserved the room with bath tub. The room is big but we have only limited space for storage as the big bath tub. It is good to have the big tub but we finally find the tub is really dirty. I suggest you do not take the bath in the tub... |

Villa La Moon Resort & Restaurant, Koh Samui, Suratthani 84310 - Review ...
I stayed at the resort after resigning from my last job. Wanted to stay in a quiet place with dramatic sea view. Met my expectation on that regard. The hotel itself is very quiet, with good spacious room (premier suite #1).
The breakfast was adequate and the view from restaurant was spectacular as from the room. The swimming pool was small and access to beach is rather difficult (considering the location not too surprising). If sea view is what you want, definitely the place to be.
Downside is that you have to rent a car/taxi if you want to go some place and the car rental agency the hotel is associated with is less than satisfactory (they sent me a run down Honda SUV with engine warning sign still on with no running speedometer). Recommend external car agency like Avis or Bucket if you want a car.
Also there is a large seafood restaurant right next door with live music. Can be quiet disturbing if you hear someone signing from your room every night - although the food there is excellent, probably the best seafood in Samui.
Hotel staff is extremely kind but with limited English command. May be a bit frustrating. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span> |

We stayed 4 nights and would love to have stayed longer.
The staff were charming and helpful and determined to make us feel special.The rooms were traditionally Thai and the beach location and spa treatments were wonderful |

Chaweng Buri Resort, Koh Samui, Suratthani 84320 - Review ...
Rooms are rather outdated but price/value is okay. Staff not really helpful when it comes to renting a motorbike etc. Late check out seems something impossible. Overall ok for a weekend. |

I would like to thank Le Meridien Koh Samui and all their staff for what was an excellent stay. We only had a short stay, but i will highly recommend to friends and family, and sure to stay again the next time we hit Thailand for a holiday.
From the room to the breakfast to the hotel porters.....all was great!

Wir waren jetzt im Januar 2012 das 3.mal auf Koh Samui am Chaweng Beach.Leider war es auch das schlechteste und somit auch das letzte mal dort.Angereist sind wir als drei Erwachsene und bekamen im Bungalow ein Doppelbett mit Zustellbett,sprich eine lavede Schlafstätte!Nach unendlichen Diskussionen wurde dies abgeschafft.Frühstück wurde uns in Buffetform versprochen was dann auch ab der 2.Woche klappte.Die Auswahl sahen wir auch schon mal besser!Das schlimmste eigentlich war,das man die Liegen am Strand(wenn der Strand da war!)vom Nachbarhotel nur mit benutzen durfte wenn man auch sofort Getränke bestellte.Die Thais sind eben auch schon seeeeehr Europäisch geworden!Leider aber nicht beim sauber machen!15 Tage lang ließ dies zu wünschen übrig!Als krönender Abschluß erlebten wir auch noch,das der Hotelbus,den wir 2Tage vorher bestellt hatten,zwar da stand aber uns nicht zum Flughafen fuhr.Also suchten wir uns früh 8.00 Uhr(das ist nicht einfach um diese Uhrzeit!) ein Taxi.Abschließend,wahrscheinlich muß man auch in Thailand wohl 1* mehr buchen um das zu bekommen was man bisher gewohnt war.Für uns hat es aber leider seinen Reiz verloren. |
Mit dem Buchungs Service sind wir zufrieden.Wir buchten das 1.mal auf diese weise und haben keine bösen Überraschungen erlebt.Zügig und korrekte Bearbeitung. |

Ett hotell som ligger väldigt avsides, men vid en fin strand. Två pooler på hotellet, en stor 20 m mot vägen och en mindre mot stranden. Bra frukostbuffé, men spartanskt möblerade rum utan balkong. Very nice place to stay, if you are not seeking for bars, clubs, and other busy stuffs. Located at the south end of chaweng beach, it s very quiet a hotel. Beach sand is perfect for children to play on. Pool is small, but beautiful, with a sepatated children section.
The Staff is kind and helpful.
Shortcoming: inner restaurant is not worth its price, and I had a terrible lunch and never go there, though breakfast (western style) is good. Eastern guests from C/J/K may feel little uncomfortable, typical eastern foods are not there, like conjee. Luckily, 10 min s bus/taxi will put yourself into the busy center of chaweng road, and you can enjoy every kinds of fun there. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span> |

Отель сделан в старо китайско-японском стиле. Восточно-азиатская эклектика. Самое приятное для нашей семьи это возможность быть невидимым для остальных гостей отеля. Каждая вилла закрыта и сделана как собственный двор. Хороший сервис. Очень хорошее спа. Дают ощутимые скидки при повторном посещении. Хотя первое несколько дороговато. Вокруг есть прачечные и кафе. Хотя до центра пляжа несколько далековато. Но очень прекрасны могут быть прогулки по пляжу. Из минусов. Не очень разнообразное вечернее меню ресторана. Мы были с детьми и не располагали к прогулкам и путешествиям по злачным местам. Но не всегда хотелось есть одно и то же из небольшого меню. И На такое территории не хватало гамаков, дополнительных мест для валяния с книжкой или сна детей. Но сама концепция отеля очень хороша. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span> |

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Thailand. Staff friendly and very helpful, rooms immaculate, clean, AC works great, prime location on Chawenge Beach, food great, drink and bar staff brilliant, lovely pool, great massages and spa area. Friendly and efficient frontdesk-straff. Rooms are spacious and wel maintained. OCEAN-view is marvelous.
Exterior of the bungalo s is a bit dated. Thatched roofs are worn-out and need replacement.
Although the location is top it looks like tatt this resortt is on it s return.
One beach-bar was closed and the other bar/restaurant wasn t suitable for collecting drinks etc in bathing-suit. Diner restaurant is overpriced.
Although high-season the resort was only 50% occupied.

Booking went very easy. Also making changes after booking went without any problems. Mrs. Tim from Sawadee was very cooperative and respons to emails as very fast.
Will definately book with Sawadee again. |
