Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa, White Sand Beach
Great!! The resort is very nice with beautiful swimming pool and beach. We bought package 3 days 2 nights. The price is reasonable. Food is superb. We had lots of fun for one day snockling trip.
If have a chance, we will pick this resort agian. Thanks. |

Nirvana Resort Koh Chang, Bang Bao Bay
Nirvana is a small hotel that advertises peace and serenity. That is exactly what they bring. The large hotel rooms are very tastefully decorated with warm natural materials. Everything (airco, hot water, DVD etc) worked fine. The grounds of the hotel and its surrounding are beautiful. Two nice pools. As there are only 11 rooms in the hotel there is a quiet and cosy atmosphere at the pool. The restaurant serves excellent dishes in, again, a beautiful environment. Hotel personel is very friendly and competent.
Nirvana is a delicious place to relax and to enjoy nature.
Don t expect any nightlife or loud entertainment. You will be able to finish your book! We enjoyed the jungle hike, went out with a boat to nice beaches at small islands. Despite that it is sandwiched in between the sea at two sides, Nirvana has no possibility to swim in the sea directly from the hotel.
Nirvana is a delicious environment if you are looking for a quiet relaxing time far from the maddening crowd
We booked the special tarrif in the low season period. We had really a lot of value for our money. Hope to go back. |

Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa, White Sand Beach
I stayed in one of the bungalows where my front door opened to the beach and it was worth every penny. I do a lot of traveling and have no problem saying that I enjoyed my stay at Kacha in every conceivable way.
The front desk staff were especially helpful, even tutored me with some basic Cambodian words and took care of my every need. The food in the restaurant was very good as was the selections of liquor at the bar.
One piece of advice, one that separates the travelers from the tourists . If you insist on traveling abroad for recreation on a budget, don t. Stay at home, save your money and then when you do it, do it right. People who want to cry and complain are usually the ones who don t tip the staff, find fault with each and every little thing and arre generally a pain in the duff to everyone.
It s amazing how your attitude about everything changes along with your perceptions when money isn t an obstacle to the enjoyment of your trip.
Kacha is a great little place to stay. I highly recommend it and would and will gladly stay there again. |

Front Desk is not really efficient in serve customers, we wait & they check all details, some details should not be check e.g. number of children & age, some horner information have to be respect to customer. Golf carts are not available i.e. out of battery...all occupied...late service to the room... |

The Dewa Koh Chang, Klong Prao Beach
The desgin is very nice, very modern and outstanding. The hotel have a good location, it s quiet and the beach is beautiful. The restaurant needs some improvements.
I do recommend The Dewa. |

Perfect hotel right on the nice White Sand Beach! I have been travelling a lot in Thailand and this is by far the nicest place I have stayed in for my kind of budget. We had a good deal at sawadee.com for a deluxe main building room. The room was very clean and welmaintained. Unfortunately we had the view of another building right in front of the balcony, so maybe I would ask for 3rd floor next time. But we just walked 20 steps down to the nice restaurant on the beach and watched the sunset from there instead. The poolarea was lovely! All in all a super nice hotel, especially for familys with kids! |

Very good hotel in every way - we stayed in the Deluxe building, and the rooms were clean and fresh with excellent air conditioning - and the surroundings were delightfully quiet.
Staff was friendly and helpful, even though the level of english could be improved somewhat.
The pool and poolarea was great - clean and wellkept. Unfortunate with the typical scandinavian/european tradition of booking sunchairs at 6 a.m., but that is not the fault of the hotel in any way.
Restaurant is good - food a bit bland at times, but that is probably just an adjustment to western tourist tastebuds.
We definitely recommend this hotel to fellow travellers!! |

Nirvana Resort Koh Chang, Bang Bao Bay
We arrived by boat in Bang bao from Koh Maak - The arrangment was to phone the hotel on arrival at the pier to be picked up - they would send a car to meet us - fine.
When we arrived, we phoned....the hotel phone wouldn t work! The up shot of this was that I left my wife standing with all our luggage while I proceeded to walk for about 2km down a rough dirt track (that no taxi wanted to go). It was extremely hot and when I arrived, the lady behind the desk simply said phone, no work - I give you my mobile number . -If you want to stay at Nirvana and need to be picked up ENSURE YOU HAVE THE RECEPTIONISTS MOBILE NUMBER FIRST!!!!! - Otherwise d be prepared for a long walk!!!
Providing you don t mind the mosquitoes (there was an outbreak of Dengue fever while we were there) and the tiny ants (they didn t bite) sharing your bed, it could be considered quite nice.
For someone who perhaps just wants to stay a couple of nights to chill out away from the hustle and bustle, it could be appealing.
Bang boa fishing village isn t far away - it reqires either a very slow bumpy ride on the dirt track courtesy of the hotel transport or a stroll along a debris stewn beach/building site and through the local s back yards to reach the pier.
The LAN internet was ok (when it worked) and the dvd/tv/audio system in the room was good.
Food was average - beware,though,that if you ask for a second cup of coffee at breakfast you will be charged 50 bahts a time which appears on your bill when you check out.
A much better alternative place to stay for the same cost is the Nisa Cabana which is close by. |

Nirvana Resort Koh Chang, Bang Bao Bay
This is a great place to stay if, like us, you re looking for solitude and a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was fantastic and was more than adequate for our week s stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They were able to book and pre-pay charters for us that wouldn t accept credit cards. The restaurant (Tantra) is fabulous. We tried to sample each of their local dishes (ask for Thai spicy) and were delighted each time. We ll stay here again if we re able to return to Koh Chang. |
We were not disappointed with this service. It saved us some money as opposed to booking direct and everything was as advertised. No problems at all. We d definitely use this service again. |
