I can t recommend this hotel unfortanutely. Definitely not 4 star hotel. Water at the pools was really dirty. Our kids got stomach flue for a week. Hotel is old and needs lots of renovation. Breakfast was very poor. Even pineapple wasn t served daily. Apartaments have very high and dangerous stairs. Definitely not for the families with the small kids. And drain was stinking really strong in bathroom in apartaments.
We moved (upgraded) to one room villa. It was better but conditioner very noisy and bed very hard. Water in private pool was always murky. Location was the only good thing about this hotel.
This was our 4th trip to Thailand and first time so big disappointment with the hotel.
And about the beach.. waves were pretty strong the most time of 2 weeks. For small kids can be dangerous. For families with kids I recommend Kamala Beach in Phuket. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span> |

Hotel location is great with a nice beach . Resturant and shops just outside the hotel. Pool is very big and. Good for the kids. Hotel spa is nice and cheap. Must try. |

Hotel plein de charme a flanc de colline dans une vegetation luxuriante. Bungalow très propre avec moustiquaires, à 200m d une belle plage .Par contre à éviter avec les enfants en bas âge car trop d escalier

Poor service throughout the resort. Garbages left unemptied for days at the beach. Not enough beach chairs at both the pool and beach. Our room was not ready upon arrival at 3.00 P.M. And then we get to room and carpenter is replacing floor boards. Soon after check-in we wanted to check- out but were trapped here because Sawadee cancelation policy, won t make that mistake again. Would not stay there again and would not recommend. |

This was our second stay at Andaman Princess and we will be returning next year as we love it so much. We had a pool villa which was amazing, the bed is the most comfortable bed I ve ever slept in. The pool is huge and the highlight of the resort, the grounds are extensive and very well kept. The staff are great, friendly and helpful. Koh Kho Khao island retains its peace and quiet and simplicity and is worlds away from the chaos of Phuket. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span> |
Fantastic booking service, seamless, professional and efficient and I use them for all of my Thailand bookings and recommend the site to friends. The rates are better than agoda, last minute.com asia hotels etc |

We loved this resort. really nice staff. the room was big and very clean. own sun loungers on the beach. pole was fine. near the restaurant, good food. slightly more expensive than eating out at major street. We will return to the hotels. |

Very calm and beutyful place to stay.
However, there should be more things to
do inside the hotel area during the days, for example possebilities to play tennis and badminton. |

We have had a fantastic holiday. There was a great service in the hotel. Never problem to go to the city or the beach, while the hotel had a perfect pickup service. A wonderfull breakfast every day. There is no doubt, that when Andaman Princess opened is was supposed to be the flagship of koh Koh Khao. Probably the Tsunami in 2004/2005 sat the hotel back enormously. And the fact is that is has never recovered ! The hotel is worn and all over you see the signs of lack of money. From the broken tiles in the pool, to the fountains without water. From the lack of pool towels to the shappy looking pool bar. From the dirty beach area to the sad empty reception area. It’s actually very sad! We had a feeling of visiting a hotel in the end of a season, right before closing down, even though we were there in the absolute highseason.
We spend 4 nights from jan 05.2012 to jan 09 2012 and paid no less that 8200 bath pr. night for a beach villa, and that’s a lot of money and even though the villa was nice, you expect the surroundings to be of a certain standard – it is not ! As I wrote, the beach bar is shappy looking and really does not give you the feeling of wanting to eat there. The same applies for the restaurant. Therefore our impression was, that the only ones who ate there, were costumers on half board. The hotel seemed abandoned at night time. I think everyone fled down to the little harbour area. The spa I will not even mention, expensive and not good ,employing the only unfriendly Thais I’ve have ever meet!
Koh Koh Khao is a lovely island, as Thailand was 40 years ago! Very quiet a night time with wonderful beachlife at day time. And we do recommend the Island and even wants to go back, but not back to Andaman Princess . |

A nice hotel but there are noe sunbeds on the beach in Khao Lak. We found it boring that it s the same menu on several of the holtels restaurants. Lovely pool area perfect for familis with children |

Super kleines Hotel mit schönem Strand. Hatten Bungalow am Strand sehr schöne. Hat wirklich eine Betonstützmauer am Strand, jedoch ohne die wären wir nicht so nah am Strand. Für Ruhe suchende sehr geeignet. |

Arrived late in the afternoon. The taxi driver couldnt fint it, and when we got there, the area didnt look appealing at all. The hotel was great. A family hotel, with NO noise. The staff were super helpfull, and very friendly.
´The Good´
Friendly staff. Good breakfast, Great Rooms. Mr.Sam (Friendly Manager) The Pool and Garden, Tha quick taxi service.
´The Bad´
The language skills of the staff. The Location, The long distance to the beach(No evening walks)
´The Ugly´
There really should be the possibility to buy softdrinks, snacks and beers at the reception. I had to walk atleast 5-800m if I wanted to get a cold beer.
Also the hotel should be connected to a tour operator. I picked one in town run by a Belgian clown called Ron. If you stumble upon him....avoid. If the hotel had a tour operator, I woule gladly have used it.
All in all, I really enjoyed my stay. I will stay in Mohin Tara Hotel again, as the staff and the lovely hotel made my stay almost perfect. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span> |
