The Briza Beach Resort, Khao Lak, Lamru
We loved The Briza! The property is a very restful, spacious design with beautiful gardens and pool - located right on the beach. We stayed in the Garden View rooms and they are very suitable for families as they are interconnecting. Breakfast was more than adequate. No problem with beach chairs etc. The property is perfectly located approximately 5km out of Khuk Kak so easy access by taxi or motorbikes are available for hire at the resort or outside. We travel to Thailand regularly (twice per year for many years) but this is our first visit to Khao Lak. Value for money is outstanding. We are already planning to return (tomorrow actually!) and are recommending it to family and friends. |

Palm Galleria Resort, Khao Lak, Pakarang Beach
Again in Palm Galleria Resort.This time we stayed here for 14 days.
It was a perfect time, just like 6 months ago.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and all has a balcony with seaview.Nice bathroom and good room service.
The staff is friendly but at the restaurant take your time with ordering, can be sometimes a miss communication.Breakfast is good.
There is a very big swimming pool wich we had at the time all for ourselves.
Because it was low season it was very quiet, most of the time we were here alone.And that was great for us.
We rented a motorbike wich you can do at the hotel.
With a motorbike you can go everywhere more easy, like al the way to baan nam kem or bangsak or even Bang niang.Or just to the 7 11.the 7 11 is a 3,5 km back to the main raod, so a bit far for walking, but with a bike or motorbike this is just a few minutes.
The Beaches are very beautiful, sandy beaches one day, and after a heavy storm the next day, full with shells.You can walk on the beaches for miles without seeing anyone.At the end of pakarang road there are some small bars, good for a drink.The Itallian has left, so no more pizzas.A 2 km in the direction to the main road are some very good thai restaurants.I would say this is a great hotel.And I will come back again.

Kho Khao Island Beach Resort, Koh Kho Khao
Staying at Kho Khao Island Beach Resort was very relaxing as we came outside of the season.
The rooms are very luxurious and also the food is good and the staff is nice. |
Good!
We took a flight earlier and the booking service could rearrange our transfer to the hotel without problems and short-dated.
Sometimes answers to e-mails is too quick, not answering all of the posed questions properly. |

The Andamania Beach Resort, Khao Lak, Khuk Khak Beach
Very large and pleasant rooms with efficient service. The hotel is nicely landscaped and sits peacefully along a nice beach but it is isolated somewhat and I would recommend it only for those with their own transport. |

Good value in low season. Nice pool, nice beach, nice room, big bath, comfortable bed and breakfast fine. Should have free wifi for these prices. Nice staff. |

The hotel was okej. The price was too high for that hotel..The sheet was dirty, the service was not good. There was lot of personal but the service?
We waited 30 minuter for 4 drinks..and the breakfast took 2 ours to served to 7 persons!!...and the internet worked very slowly. It was low season and lot of yellowfish at the sea, you couldn´t swim there. The pool was good thanks good for that! |
We got a voucher from our hotel but it was closed!! How could that happening?
Sawadee helpt us to fix the pay to the other hotel. Our children was sow disepointed. They looked forward to play playstation and go to cinema at the hotel but it was closed!!! |

The Andamania Beach Resort, Khao Lak, Khuk Khak Beach
This hotel represented excellent value for money.We had a ground floor room near the pool and it was large,clean comfortable.The staff were friendly and we could not fault anything.
The only niggles were nno umbrellas(it rained a lot) and we had no hot water,but as we were only checked in for 2 nights no real problem,however it has to be said that transport of some sort is essential as the place is a good 3 miles from the main road.
The beach is beautiful and in the high season would have more than enough beach bars etc. opinion well worth a visit for a quiet restful break |

Khaolak Orchid Beach Resort, Khao Lak, Nang Tong Beach
Good service but to calm. It surprise us that orchid beach resort was the only hotel at the long beach!
This hotel are perfect for relax and honeymoon. We was there for three days and that was enough. Our three big children didn t like it. It was low season and not much turist and nothing to do for them. I felt sad when i walked at the big beach and saw photo of small children who became on tsunami. I saw where it before were hotel and broken palms.
