Champlung Sari Hotel, Bali - Ubud
My wife and I stayed 2 nights. Painting on wall has ugly and frightening faces of Balinese gods that I removed and hid in the cupboard. Room and bathroom needed upgrading as they were worser than the hotel we stayed in Tuban the night before. Staff are however very friendly. Breakfast was reasonable but could be better for price paid. Location is excellent as near to spas. |
Repeat booking with Sawadee.com and got better pricing than other online hotel reservation. Confirmation was quick and had no problem checking in with hotel. |

Santika Beach Hotel, Bali, Bali - Tuban Beach
Hotel is pretty nice. Premier rooms are good but only on ground floor with terrace. The staff is very plesant and helpfull. The breakfast is fine. The one this is not good is the beach - it is not swimable and also can t be used for serfing. |

The deluxe room is similar to the standard room and the outdoor shower isn t really worth the extra money. We were disappointed to arrive at the hotel at around 5pm and was made to wait until 7pm for our rooms. Although we had specified a double bed, we were given two singles. After we complained the next day they managed to get us a room with double bed, but we had already unpacked and weren t in the mood to move, so our honeymoon didnt go as planned. Although the hotel looks great, the service wasnt the best and I dont think we ll be staying there again, as there are much better choices in Bali |
Sawadee is a great site, had no problems with the booking, managed to get slightly cheaper rates and we will definitely use the service again. |

Melia Bali Villa & Spa Resort, Bali - Nusa Dua Beach
This is my second visit to the hotel. I love the romantic ambience and hence come back for a night stay after 3 nights at Kuta. The room smell a bit damp this time (was okay on my first visit). You just have to open the door and let the sunshine warm up the room then it will be okay. The breakfast is of good variety. |

It looked really nice on the internet, but reality is far, far better!!!
It is in a nice, quiet area within easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The staff is a lovely bunch, who are very helpful and doing their best in pampering you. The room was delight with fresh flowerarragements everywhere and an enormous fruitbasket. The small private garden you can look into whilst lying in the sunken bathtub....
This is definitely a place we will be back to. Highly recommendable. |

For 87 Dollars per night a little more can be expected in Indonesia. Overall the staff has not been helpful and it was impossible to swim. Recommendations to stay somewhere else. |

Grand Mirage Resort, Bali - Tanjung Benoa Beach
We liked the Grand Mirage a lot.It was quiet and not
very crowded while we were there.The rooms are nice
although not luxurious.The TV is small and there was
no internet hookup in the room,but those things were
of little importance to us.The swimming pool was great as was the beach.There were plenty of activities available right outside our door.The breakfast each morning was much better than we had expected and the staff was very friendly.We
definitely reccommend the Grand Mirage. |
